Tabitha Kyle hits immediate form at South View

Tabitha Kyle hit immediate form at the enormously popular English Home Pony at South View Equestrian with a victory double on the first day.

Tabitha maintained her Horse of the Year Show form to top the 128/138cm handicap with HOYS champion Playboy Van De Zoetewei in a 78-strong single-phase.  The pair flew into the lead for victory by 1.35 sec and Tabitha also netted third and fifth with Mister Proper and Lissduff Royal.  Rachel Proudley slotted Buttons Two into second and Ellen Power rode Bear Me In Mind into fourth with Lauren Caroline filling sixth spot on The Jacaloupe.  The 128cm section took the lower places with Tabitha in the top 128cm spot in eighth on Living The Dream.

Tabitha lifted the top spot in the pony Foxhunter with almost five sec to spare on Lickaun Lady.  Lauren Caroline guided Kissemmie Chatterbox into second in the nine-pony decider with Aine Shortall in third aboard BKS Nebula.  Claudia Moore claimed fourth on Glamour IV ahead of Keiran Taylor with Hazelcroft Little Gem and Isabelle Morrissey on Clonlara Stripe in fifth and sixth.

Elsi Jacques seized the top spot in the JC/JA handicap with top JA Trevoulter Ladies Man by just 0.09 sec in a hotly contended class.  Katie Power chased hard for second on Carrigeen Moores and Jack Brennan netted third on Alonsa IV.  Francesca Young secured fourth on Carnhill Luna and Tabitha brought the first of the JC ponies into fifth on Lickaun Lady.

Eloise Squibb jumped straight to the top with the consistent Rudgeway Maestro to win the 75-strong South View Rising Stars with 0.14 sec in hand.  Amy Morris clinched second on Tobar King with Izzy Goddard third on Strawberry Rojo ahead of fourth-placed Henry Nelson and Strider IV and Sienna White in fifth aboard Sky Bonita 1.

 

Henry triumphed in the 1.10m with Strider claiming a 1.28 sec advantage in the 13-strong decider.  Isla Dee Campbell jumped Candy Twist into second with Tabitha and Heitvelds Bjorn in third.  Ella de Munck rode Spot The Go Jo into fourth, Ollie Fry finished fifth on Oakwood Daisy and Connie Mensley netted sixth with Banner Girl.

Emmie Horner posted one of only two double clears to take the Pony Club 128cm Mini Major Olympia qualifier on Silver Nero with just 0.05 sec over Abigail Wicks in second on Camizion.  Millie Lawson claimed third on Tynebank Royal Jester, Alfie Daiper finished fourth on Euro Magic and Oosha Moondi rode Oliver Twist VI into fifth.

William Field galloped Killack King into victory in the 1m with 3.53 sec to spare and picked up third aboard Koningshoek Mistique, sandwiching William Stewart’s Shamrock Bay into second.  Connie and Banner Girl finished fourth and William Stewart also claimed fifth on second ride Claremont Lass. 

Rachel Proudley headed the 28-strong newcomers with 4.54 sec to spare on Portmore Stroller.  Elle May Hart clinched second on Dunangel with Tabitha third aboard Another Barney.  Imogen Hallsworth took fourth riding Little Miss Chief and Dafydd Watkin Jones guided Mr Bojangles XI into fifth.

Tillie Davies topped the 90cm on Beauty Bright with 1.28 sec to spare over Alfie Diaper in second aboard Little Maggie May.  Laureen Murphy rode Gurteen Merlin to the top in the discovery with just 0.09 sec in hand over Emily Carnall and Flying Kangaroo.
