Jess Dimmock flies to a win in Knokke

Brits claimed a one-two in the 2* 1.35m with Jess Dimmock claiming the win on Billy Fleance. 

Forty-two riders contended this section B two-phase class – split into two due to the number of entries – and Jess forged ahead on the Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve/Billy Mexico eight-year-old mare to win with 1.20 sec in hand.  Joe Clee settled for second on the Kashmir Van Schuttershof eight-year-old Lafayette Van Overis and James Fisher eased the nine-year-old Fancypina (Toulon/Kroongraaf) into third.

Jake Saywell claimed second in the 2* 1.40m two-phase with Touch of Chilli.  Forty-seven contended with Jake and the Out of Touch 15-year-old finishing 1.79 sec off the winning time.  Jane Annett took ninth on Billy Du Montois while Jess Dimmock (Primo Bella Swan) and Jess Mendoza (Diamants Aurora) returned double clears for 17th and 20th.

Jake eased Lacondra V/D Roshoeve into fifth in the 40-horse 2* 1.30m two-phase, the Condor c eight-year-old finishing six sec off the pace.  James Fisher was right behind for sixth on Giandra and James Davenport filled seventh spot with Air Travel.  A steadier double clear earned Joe Clee and Ekita 15th place.

Jake jumped an easy double clear on Havinia Van De Roshoeve to take 13th in the 68-strong 3* 1.35m two-phase.  Jane Annett was 17th on Billy Tudor and James Davenport returned a clean sheet on Cochella for 20th.

And Jake finished ninth in the 42-entry 2* 1.35m two-phase section A on Galaxcy six sec behind the winner.  Sam Hutton was slightly slower for 11th on Axel 111 Z and Emma Stoker supplied the steadiest of the double clears for 19th on Balkana Du Tillard.

Sam Hutton guided Centuria 7 into ninth in the 1.30m special two-phase to finish more than four sec behind the pace.  Mark Hallion’s Castle Rock and Megan Broadway on Exclusive also came home penalty-free in the 42-strong class to take 13th and 14th.

Emma Stoker claimed second spot in the 61-strong six-year-old 1.25m speed with Q Seven (Quaid/Stakkato) 0.42 sec behind the winner.  Emily Sage was fifth on I Am A Harley (Harley VDL/Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve), Grace Hooper took eighth on Ivy League and Jay Buxton was 19th on Strides Josie.

Claire Salem finished eighth in the 61-horse 1* 1.25m speed with Meteoor more than five sec off the pace.  Stacey Willsone took 11th on CSF Olympic Lady just ahead of Jess Mendoza’s I-Cap CI Z in 12th while Lyndsay Scatterty (Gelesta) and Isabel Saywell (Con Chilli) jumped clear for 16th and 18th.
