Zoe Potter is denied victory by a slender margin in Drammen

Zoe Potter was a fraction from victory on day one in Drammen, Norway, with Wings Z.  twenty-four tackled the 2* silver 1.30m two-phase with Zoe and the seven-year-old Eurocommerce Washington/Amethist mare just 0.22 sec behind the winner for second place.

Zoe picked up one time fault in the 23-strong five and six-year-old 1.10/1.20m two-phase to take sixth on Jolo Van’T Veller (Floris/Ovidius).

Four faults in the first round of the 2* gold 1.35m two-phase put Zoe and Monica LH into 13th.  


 Amanda Derbyshire steered Roulette BH into fourth in the 5* Masters One 1.45m on day one at the New York Masters. Forty-one contended this two-phase class with Amanda and the Moschino 10-year-old finishing 0.61 sec behind the winner, The USA’s Adrienne Sternlicht on Fantast.


At Magna Racino, Austria, Eoin Gallagher jumped into sixth in the 2* diamond tour 1.45m speed with Di Caprio, the eight-year-old Diarado stallion 5.35 sec finishing behind the winner.  Karl Robins also posted a steady clear to take eighth with G Camille HBF.   

Eoin claimed fifth on the Popstar Lozonais eight-year-old Bigstar Derick in the 2* silver tour 1.30m speed 3.31 sec off the pace.  Ashley Ray was clear on Care For and Apart P to take 11th and 17th while four faults dropped Mackenzie Ray on Valse De Boguin for 20th.

Ashley finished fifth in the bronze 1.20m speed on the 12-year-old Quite Easy daughter Quite A Flower more than nine sec off the pace.

Hannah Berryman with HG’s Joy and Mackenzie on OS Chateau Pape Clement posted easy clears in the five-year-old 1.15m to finish equal first.

Mackenzie slotted Oakingham Lira into sixth in the six-year-old 1.20m speed more than eight sec behind the pace.  Four faults dropped Shane O’Meara with Oakingham Kia The Door and Mackenzie on Oakingham Sterling to 11th and 12th.
