Jane Annett jumps to the top in Spain

 Jane Annett jumped to the top in the six-year-old 1.30m final with Iwalinde in Oliva Nova, Spain.  

Nine of the 13 starters reached the jump-off with Jane cruising ahead with the VDL Zirocco Blue/Corland mare to win by 0.66 sec.  Cressy Neads provided the steadiest of the double clears for fourth on Amazone Narko Z (Arko III/Skippy II).

Four faults in round one denied Jane a jump-off chance in the seven-year-old 1.40m final and put Cliasira BH into seventh.

Howard Ephgrave clinched third place in the 25-horse five-year-old 1.20m final with Jayley, the Don Diablo HX/Phin Phin mare finishing 2.86 sec behind the winner.  Cressy was also double clear in the 17-strong jump-off for fifth on Alia and clear and four put Abbe Burchmore Eames into 15th on Justify.


In Valencia, Spain, Henry Truelove posted a steady double clear in the five-year-old 1.15m two-phase for fourth on Jellie (Dakar VDL/Indoctro) almost eight sec off the pace. 

Louise Morley with Mari and Henry aboard Iris L came home on four faults in the six-year-old 1.25m two-phase to finish seventh and eighth.
