Leonie Aitkenhead is in the money in Spain

Leonie Aitkenhead jumped into second in the 47-strong seven-year-old 1.30m speed with Heart-Third, the Heartbeat/Churchill mare posting a steady round to finish almost 10 sec behind the winner.  Alison Barton finished 13th on Je Taime Aredis with Holly Miller 14th on Arbitrage, David McPherson took 16th on Carl-Heinz B and Jake Saywell was 18th aboard Cancari V Z.

Max Routledge slotted Mademoiselle-A into second in the second section of the seven-year-old, the Corland/Cardento mare 1.23 sec behind the winner.  Jess Dimmock claimed seventh on Holland’s Next Top Model, Richard Barton was eighth on Be Cool Harry with Deborah Jackson 10th on Puma and Robert Bevis steered Hoxynula-N into 12th.  Slower clears from Harriet Nuttall (Forest Quality) and Kayleigh Watts (Melvin VD Bisschop) finished 18th and 20th in the 48-strong class.

Christopher Frazer jumped into second in the six-year-old two-phase section B with Indira-Linda FH (Spartacus/Animo) 0.42 sec behind the winner.  Daisy McKinlay guided Darkside Desir into 10th with Kayleigh eased Sacino into 13th and Max was 20th on Intro L.

Daisy McKinlay claimed fifth in the six-year-old 1.20m two-phase section A with Darjeeling Desir (Mozart Des Hayettes/Gabyscion) 1.97 sec behind the pace.  Nicole Lockhead Anderson was close behind for sixth on Azolette and Donald Whitaker took ninth on Message Me TW.

William Rekert claimed 10th in the five-year-old 1.10m two-phase section A on Can Can Z (Cormint/Chin Chin) more than four sec off the pace.  Leonie Aitkenhead took 12th on Intense Royal Z with William also double clear on second ride Sharpie TW for 20th.

James Wilson netted sixth on Floranche Z (Fernando H/Cassini) in the five-year-old section B with Lucy Rhodes’ Cobellino F Z in seventh and Leonie in eighth on Orchis VS Donkhoeve.  Cressy Neads eased Alia into 10th, Saskia Norum was 13th on Jack Querelle FH, Laura Robinson took 16th aboard Olina Van De Noordheuvel, Elizabeth Lutener claimed 17th on Jasper and Louis Simmons slotted Elixir Du Paradis into 19th. 





Sammie-Jo Coffin posted a double clear in the six-year-old in Carmona, Spain, to take third on Bless VDH Z 1.33 sec off the pace.  Jay Buxton was also penalty-free and guided No Fear Ban Jonckhoeve into fifth.
