Annabel Shields makes it another win in Wierden

It was another day, another win for Annabel Shields in Wierden, The Netherlands, as she raced to top the Mercedes 2* 1.35m on Creevagh Carisma.
Nineteen contended this speed class with Annabel outpacing every one on the eight-year-old Camiro De Haar Z daughter to win by 2.48 sec. A steadier clear almost seven sec in arrears gave Jonathan Dixon and Guus-Geluk eighth place.
Four faults for Jonathan on Fireball and eight for Annabel with Carnoneybridge Challenger in the 2* world ranking 1.45m grand prix put them out of contention.

Antonio Marinas Soto claimed victory in the 3* 1.40m with Faya Sao Miguel in Opglabbeek, Belgium.
Seventy-one tackled this speed class with British-based Antonio – riding for Spain – forging ahead to win by 1.07 sec on the Cornetto Z/Darco eight-year-old over Belgium’s Rik Hemeryck on Urbane De Puychety.
Harry Charles returned a double clear in the 60-horse 3* 1.50m to take 11th on the talented Cachas nine-year-old Sieco.
An easy double clear in the 60-strong 1* 1.35m grand prix on the promising seven-year-old Gwendolin handed Joe Clayton 15th place.
