Tim Page powers to a win in France
Tim Page multi-tasked extremely well to head the fun-filled ride and drive with a twist at Dunkerque in France.
Tim first negotiated a 1.20m table C speed track on the Clarimo/Contender seven-year-old Casanova 499 before leaping off and the shoe was on the other foot as he tackled a mini course himself on foot. The round eventually concluded with driving a small car around a series of cone obstacles. Colin Keeling followed suit to take sixth place on the six-year-old Mistral V/D Roshoeve.
Joss Williams got his first International show off to a flying start with a win. He headed the 31-strong 1.10m speed on Zandor 16-year-old Zandokan Z with more than three sec to spare.
Joss also picked up eighth in the initial 1.25m with Davinci T, the Numero Uno 10-year-old more than four sec behind the pace.
Colin rode ARD Spun Gold into fifth in the 1.25m two-phase with 50 starters. The ARD VDL Douglas/ARD Ohio 13-year-old mare was 2.05 sec off the pace. Rose Moss was also double clear on the Billy Congo seven-year-old African Affair for 14th place.
An easy double clear from Colin on Renkum Offender/Cobretti six-year-old Renkum Olinthos in the 1.30m two-phase finished 10th.
