Louise Saywell jumps to a win in Kronenberg
Louise Saywell rode Tiger De Old Lodge to the top in the 2* 1.40m in Kronenberg, The Netherlands.
Fifty-two contended this medium tour speed class with Louise and the eight-year-old Padinus/Cassini II stallion cruising ahead to win with 1.34 sec in hand. Abbe Elliott (nee Burchmore Eames) rode the Berlin 10-year-old Booming Blue Z into fifth 2.64 sec in arrears.
Georgie Burchmore Eames claimed fourth in the 1.35m two-phase on Wilandri E, the Lupicor 15-year-old finishing 0.93 sec off the winning time. Bumble Thomas guided the 11-year-old Ciandro into sixth and Michael Lonsdale was also double clear for 17th on Tsunami De Hus.
And Abbe steered the coloured six-year-old Hamberlins Chilli into third in the 1.10m two-phase a little over two sec off the winning time.
Bumble also rode into sixth in the 41-strong 1.20m two-phase with the Canto 12-year-old Quantum Treat 2.10 sec behind the pace.
Graham Babes slotted Glencoe into second in the seven-year-old, missing out on victory by a fraction. Only 19 contended this 1.35m two-phase but quality abounded with Graham and the Chellthago Z/Numero Uno gelding in the runner-up spot by just 0.11 sec. Scott Brash also posted an easy double clear on Hello Franklin (Billy Mexico/Goodtimes) for ninth.
Sam Hutton finished fourth in the five and six-year-old 1.15/1.25m handicap two-phase on Goodwill V/D Coefering, the Toulon six-year-old 1.18 sec behind the pace.
Amy Duncan claimed third in the 45-horse 1* 1.30m two-phase with the 13-year-old Indoctro stallion Adagio II just a quarter of a sec off the winning time.
Steady clears in the 62-strong big tour 1.40m speed put Graham Lovegrove on Excelibur and Scott Brash’s Hello Senator into 15th and 18th.
