Laura Renwick jumps into form in Dinard

Laura Renwick was on form in Dinard, France, with Bintang, taking second in the 5* 1.55m.

Thirty-nine tackled this speed class and Laura is always known as a danger against the clock. But she had to settle for second on the Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve 12-year-old two sec behind the winner, France’s Kevin Staut on Silver Deux De Virton HDC.

Billy Twomey jumped into second in the 38-horse 5* 1.45m speed on Ardcolum Duke 0.56 sec behind the winner, Mexico’s Patricio Pasquel on Babel.

Stuart Neads picked up fourth in the 2* 1.30m two-phase on the Baltic VDL/Numero Uno eight-year-old Freya 2.50 sec behind the pace. Cressy Neads guided Fever L into 10th and Nigel Coupe was right behind for 13th on Golvers Hill.

Cressy was seventh in the 3* 1.40m two-phase with the Chintan/Chin Chin nine-year-old Chinta Van Geluut Z more than three sec behind the pace. Stuart was 14th on Chicago’s Boy.

Four faults put Cressy and Lordanos Junior into 16th in the 3* 1.50m speed. France’s Patrice Delaveau galloped to a win on Urcos De Kerglenn HDC.

Stacey Willsone posted a clear in the 1.25m speed on the Wolfgang 14-year-old Newton Nickel to finish sixth more than six sec behind the pace.
