Louise Saywell lands victory in France
Louise Saywell hit form in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France, taking the 1.35m table C speed on Feigtling.
Sixty-five contended here but Louise took charge on Graham Ward’s Chicago Z 13-year-old Feigtling to win with 1.16 sec in hand. Jemma kirk jumped the 14-year-old Quelisto into sixth 3.61 sec in arrears and Adrian Whiteway took eighth on Dennis. A rail down added four sec to Graham Lovegrove’s time and he took 16th on Ascension Lord.
Adrian hit the top spot in the six-year-old 1.25m speed with Cooley Network (Boswell Mr Heartbreaker/Coronado) easing ahead to win by 1.03 sec. He picked up seventh in the seven-year-old on Shanroe Supremo more than five sec behind the winner. And a steady clear from Adrian some 13 sec behind the pace in the five and six-year-old speed put Chacco Volo into eighth.
Biba McCaul left all the fences intact in the 90-strong 1.45m speed but the steady round on the 11-year-old Cargo put them on one time fault and out of contention and into 26th.
An easy clear from Jemma and Vivalto Du Breuil in the 61-strong 1* 1.30m speed put the pair into 16th place 12 sec behind the pace. Jo McGlory and Camielo finished 18th.
