Adrian Whiteway hits form in France

Adrian Whiteway celebrated the return to competition of top horse Anytime II with victory at Cagnes-sur-Mer, France.

Fifty-five tackled the 2* 1.35m with Adrian and the Nanthos R/Rubert R 11-year-old racing ahead to take the win by 1.25 sec.  Jemma Kirk slotted the eight-year-old Astrale De Launay into seventh and four faults dropped Louise Saywell out of contention and into 18th with Feigtling.

Vicky Wingrove claimed seventh in the 71-strong 1.25m with the 11-year-old Codean 1.83 sec off the pace.  Sam Ward was also double clear for 16th on F.Brightwood Lynz.
