Maisie Drea and Caro Z rise to the top in Oliva Nova

Maisie Drea jumped to the top in the five-year-old at the MET III tour in Oliva Nova, Spain, to take a commanding victory on Caro Z. 

Fourteen of the 35 starters with Maisie taking charge on the Clintissmo Z/Renkum Valentino mare to win with six sec in hand.  Four faults dropped Tony French and the Sandro Boy/Nagano stallion No Fear Van Jonckhoeve to sixth and Chad Fellows picked up 12th on eight faults aboard Lady Lilly 8.


Jane Annett slotted Hold Up into seventh in the seven-year-old 1.35m.  Fifteen of 82 contended the jump-off with Jane and the Diarado/Courage gelding finishing eight sec behind the winner, Ireland’s Ivan Dalton on Bionce Des Monts.  Clear and four dropped Joe Clayton and Dewpoint Diamond (Je T’Aime Flamenco/Eagled Eyed) down to 11th.


Joe posted an easy double clear on Jane Heerbeck’s Hikita to take 11th in the 59-strong six-year-old, four sec behind the pace.  Giorgia Distefano was also penalty-free for 16th on Dincky Toy Z (Dicasi OH/Animo).
