Allana Clutterbuck continued her run of good form to take a win in Achterhoek, The Netherlands, with Atomic Du Bary.
A double winner a week ago in Opglabeek, Belgium, with Tekila Du Bary, Allana brought the seven-year-old Frascator Mail stallion Atomic to the fore here, topping the pony big tour 1.25m speed with a 2.69 sec advantage. Claudia Moore netted fourth in this 37-strong class with the 11-year-old Shamrock Du Gite, four sec in arrears. One time fault put Claudia and second ride Elando Van De Rohoeve into 13th while a fast four by Allana and Tekila took 16th place.
Allana almost made it a double in the junior 1.35m speed. She held a long-time lead on Vitaal G in the 50-strong class, but the Orame 15-year-old stallion was beaten into second place by two sec by Belgium’s Simon Morssinkhoff on Perigrosso.
Lucinda Roche jumped straight into the top spot of the 45-strong under 25 1.20m speed with Hebe Van’t Palmenhof, the Darco 10-year-old coming home with 1.79 sec to spare.
And Lucinda and the consistent mare Hebe claimed third on day two’s under 25 1.20m two-phase, finishing 3.13 sec behind the pace.
Georgina Wareham posted a double clear in the pony 1.15m two-phase to take 17th with Sharelle, finishing almost four sec behind the pace in the 57-pony class.
