Elle Street doubles up at Weston Lawns for the Trailblazers championships

Elle Street doubled up at Weston Lawns to claim victory in the pony 95cm and 1.05cm classes with Whitehawk Zee Dot Com and a finalist place in the SEIB Trailbazers championships.

A member of Macclesfield and District riding club, Elle, 15, started riding 10 years ago and joined British Showjumping earlier this year. Elle is an old hand at the Trailblazers Championships – this will be her fourth time attending the prestigious finals. Last year, she claimed reserve champion in the 85cm on Zee Dot Com.

The 11-year-old appaloosa mare Whitehawk Zee Dot Com was purchased two years ago and the pair met with success at this year’s Pony of the Year Show, winning the introductory 90cm and a bursary for training with a rider of their choice.

“I haven’t decided on the trainer yet,” said Elle, who also events, “but my choice for jumping would be Geoff Billington.”

Megan Thomas finished second in the 95cm on Wexland Rockstart with Grace Bostock in third aboard Bits N Bobs.

In the 75cm, Arabella Lines claimed the win on Trendy Two Stars with Danielle Smith jumped Alvin into second place. Holly Williams took third aboard Flamboyant with Collette Johnson fourth on Mr Darcy and Aysha Forest fifth riding Enya.

Mia Law seized the top spot in the 85cm with Hollywood Girl and also finished in fourth place on Dakota. India Keates-Robinson jumped into second spot on Taran and Megan Thomas finished third on Wexland Rockstart.
