Dan Neilson is on form in Reims

Dan Neilson slotted Major Delacour into into second in the 3* 1.45m on day one in Reims, France. 

Sixty-four contended this speed class with Dan and the Ksar-Sitte nine-year-old Major Delacour finishing 1.25 sec behind the winner, Colombia’s Rene Lopez on Con Dios III.  Sam Ward jumped a slower clear for eighth on the Quidam De Revel 10-year-old Thomas.  Laura Renwick posted the fastest time of the class but a rail down dropped MHS Washington from victory to 13th.  

Dan also claimed seventh in the 3* 1.35m two-phase on the Casall/Quinar eight-year-old Cirrus.  Laura was close on his heels for ninth aboard the nine-year-old Dominant H (Heartbreaker/Indorado) and Sam Ward picked up 10th and 11th with Romany and Troy III.
