Jonathan Dixon jumps into second in Lier

Jonathan Dixon picked up second in the 2* 1.30m on Gantico, the Canturo/Darco 11-year-old finishing 1.05 sec behind the winner in Lier, Belgium.

Sally Hopkinson eased the eight-year-old Vigaro daughter Etahgravin into 11th and Declan Irvine took 13th on Horatio Van Ter Hulst. Also jumping double clear was Helena Cassir on Curley Sue and William Whitaker aboard Junior Van Ter Hulst for 16th and 17th.

Declan Irvine galloped to the top in the 1.20m aboard the nine-year-old Keeford Carousel (Harlequin Du Carel/Clover Hill), taking the win by 0.32 sec. Declan also picked up fifth on second ride Zandeur Clover and Rebecca Ravilious was right behind for sixth on Billy Macbeth and Jonathan Dixon took 12th on Zaligra H.

Rebecca Ravilious posted a double clear in the 1.35m for 13th on Marina Z.

Helena jumped into fourth in the seven-year-old on Go For Blue HBC (Alicante HBC/Mr Blue) finishing more than four sec behind the pace. British-based Irishman Paul Kennedy was fifth on Destiny Second Life Z. Also posting penalty-free rounds was Paul on second ride H Day Van Bareelhof Z and Sally Hopkinson’s Fadograaf for 20th and 21st.

Sally also jumped into 15th with a double clear in the 1.40m section B on Temple Marple. Slow double clears for Paul on EIS Esaura and Delcan aboard Mystic Independence saw them finish down the order.

Nick Benterman rode the Corland/Indoctro 13-year-old Zorland d into eighth with a double clear more than four sec behind the winner. William Whitaker’s steady rounds on Ilusionata Van’t Meulenhof put them in 15th.
