Ria Comins hits the top in the pony British novice second round at Moores Farm


Ria Comins secured victory in the pony British novice second round at Moores Farm Equestrian in Gloucestershire with Elvira.

Eight treble clears were achieved from an initial 41 starters, Ria commanding the top spot on the five-year-old mare Elvira by the narrow margin of 0.20 sec.

Carl Toft aboard Chantilly Miss Sunshine claimed second and Iwan Bartle eased Izelle Perfect Dream into third.

Ten qualifying places for the final at the National Championships, Stoneleigh in August were on offer and were taken by:
