Georgie Crumley takes another win at Opglabbeek

Georgie Crumley is on fire in Opglabbeek and just 24 hours after her first win, she guided the ever-eager Killagriff Ohio Lou into another storming victory in the 1.20m two-phase section B. On this occasion, the Ard Ohio/Golden Cliff 14-year-old claimed a 2.72 sec advantage.

British-based Joao Charlesworth riding for Portugal jumped to the top in the 2* 1.30m two-phase section A with the 14-year-old The Processor (Almos Prints C/Nabab de Reve). They took the win with 2.55 sec to spare over Brit Leonora Smee with Waltons Top Flight.

Helen Tredwell jumped into sixth in the 1.40m speed grand prix qualifier with Ann and Colin Garrett’s Sebastian VII (Unbelievable Darco/Animo). They were five sec behind the pace. Rose Moss eased the Rash R 14-year-old Weston into 10th with Remy Ellis in 13th aboard the Padinus/Burggraaf 14-year-old Warendorf. Also jumping clear was Ireland’s Trevor Breen with Escapade H and Paul Kennedy on Datero H and Scott Brash’s Hello Senator.

Chloe Aston claimed second in the 1.35m speed section A on the eight-year-old Lorelei van het Waterschoot Z (Lord Z/Parco), more than three sec behind the winner. Scott took fourth with an easy round on Hello Forever (For Pleasure/Ninnerdor) and Anna Wilks eased the eight-year-old Elizabeth (Zirocco Blue VDL/Sydney) into eighth.

Rose Moss took second in the section B 1.35m speed, the nine-year-old Calido mare Caliva finishing 5.66 sec behind the winning time. And Rose also picked up 10th in the six-year-old on the Billy Congo-sired African Affair. Georgie Crumley posted the steadiest clear of the class on Khaled OL (Super Trooper de Ness/Diamant de Semilly) for 17th place.

Dan Moseley posted a good clear in the seven-year-old speed for fourth with Arrogant un Prince (Arko/Le Tot de Semilly) with Joao Charlesworth in sixth on the Balou du Rouet daughter Unicorns Rubberball and Sally Hopkinson also returned a clear for 11th on Fadograaf (Vigaro/Quasimodo Z). Paul Kennedy jumped for two time faults on H Day van Bareelhof Z.
