Yazmin Pinchen is back in form in St Lo

Yazmin Pinchen has soon hit form after returning to competition following the birth of her first child, and took second in the 2* world ranking 1.45m with the 14-year-old Van de Vivaldi. They had to concede victory to speedy Frenchman Julien Epaillard on Sephora Sonzeenn by 1.18 sec in the eight-strong jump-off. Four faults dropped Laura Renwick and Heliodor Hybris to sixth spot.

Laura topped the 43-strong 1.30/1.35m on Alothain de Blondel, the Newton de Kreisker/Heartbreaker seven-year-old taking the win with 0.38 sec in hand. Declan Irvin claimed seventh on the Caleandro seven-year-old Fendiela and Skye Higgin took 12th with Eoile VD Wijnhoeve Z and Holly Miller in 16th on Felicio.

Declan Irvine jumped into second in the 1.25m on Keeford Carousel speed, just 0.30 sec behind the winner. Laura eased Uruguay de la Roque into fifthand Gillian Anderson’s JJ’s Prince Chaccomo finished seventh and James Smith was also clear for 16th on Flinstering.

Guy Williams popped the Carthano eight-year-old Cherie V Overis into eighth in the 1.30m, one and half sec behind the winner. James Smith was also double clear for 19th on Twix de la Roque.

Eve Olive eased the 10-year-old Calinka VH Maarlo Z into third in the 1.15m, jumping double clear to finish almost three sec in arrears of the winning time. Four faults dropped Sophie Currie and Condor down to 14th.

And a steady double clear put Holly Miller and HHS Dramarko into 10th in the 1.35m.
