Florence Bellm comes out on top in Le Mans

Florence Bellm jumped to the top in the amateur 1.20m at Le Mans, France, with Southbound. Thirty-four competitors tackled this two-phase class, with Florence and the Calvaro FCS/Cruising 15-year-old taking victory by 0.44 sec. Emily Johnson and Billy Winter (Chacco Blue/Billy Congo) also returned a clean sheet for 13th.

Tracy Priest jumped into fourth place in the 1.40m speed on the big-jumping Caristo VDL, the Silverstone/Quick Star 10-year-old finishing 2.90 sec behind the winner.

Sophie Currie was a fraction in arrears in the amateur 1.10m and had to settle for second on the Verdi/Concorde 10-year-old Condor, 0.55 sec behind the winning time. Sophie Stockdale rode into ninth on Tanja and Joanne Murphy finished 14th aboard Fairgold.

Sophie slotted the Winningmood/Calvin 10-year-old Hella into 11th in the 1* 1.30m with an easy clear. And Charlotte Geddes claimed 13th in the 1* 1.20m on the Vitaal G nine-year-old Paradise G. Gillian Anderson was also penalty-free for 19th on Congeniality B.
