Charlotte Platt and Jenson 55 - best Brits in Bonheiden
Charlotte Platt hit form in Bonheiden, taking second on the home-bred Jenson 55 in the 2* 1.50m grand prix.
Fourteen of the 45 starters jumped clear in round one including two Brits on British-bred horses, but the Nettherlands Maikel van de Vleuten took charge to claim victory on VDL Groep Idi Utopia.
The Verdi/Padinus nine-year-old Jenson stepped up in style for Charlotte, producing a second clear to finish just 0.30 sec behind for the runner-up spot. Four faults in the jump-off dropped Phillip Miller and Brendon Stud’s home-bred 10-year-old Unbelievable Lady (Unbelievable Darco/Hamilton) to 10th. Four faults in round one put Helen Tredwell and Sebastian into 16th and Ben Walker was also on four with Roulette H for 22nd.
