Rose Moss narrowly misses out on victory in Lier
Rose Moss bounced into second place in the 1.30m section B with the 14-year-old Weston on day one of week two at Lier, Belgium. The pair finished exactly two sec behind Belgium’s Gilles Thomas on Guappa van Chierbergen. Joe Clee posted a double clear on Je T Adore for 14th and Zoe Potter picked up just one time fault to finish down the line on Miss Piccachu.
Alex Hemplemann eased the Billy Congo/Iroko 10-year-old Billy Tiffany into sixth in the 1.30m section A, 2.38 sec behind the winner, Belgium’s Rik Hemeryck on Deesse de la Sure.
Joe Clee jumped into third on the Calvaro/Diamant de Semilly stallion Kafka VD Heffinck in the seven-year-old, finishing 1.60 sec in arrears. Also returning clear rounds was
Alex Barr on Falco and Michael Potter with Grandee.Alex Barr took second in the 1.10m the eight-year-old Unbelievable Darco daughter Darco Diva, 2 47 sec behind the winning time. William Whitaker picked up a time fault in a steady round on Fandango.
Rose claimed seventh in the six-year-old on the Billy Congo-sired African Affair, 1.90 sec behind the winner. Zoe Potter on Manderville Crescendo and Rose on second ride ICB Darc Cavalier also jumped clear rounds to take 18th and 19th.
