Louise Saywell hits immediate form in Denmark

March 9, 2017

Louise Saywell got Herning 3*, Denmark off to a flying start with James Hughes’ ultra-consistent Peiter VI immediately hitting winning form.  The pair topped the 83-strong 3* 1.40m with a 1.13 sec advantage for a convincing victory.

Louise also jumped clear in the 53-entry 1.45m speed on Billy Twomey’s scopey Douglas/Cassini II nine-year-old Dassler, but the stiff competition put them in eighth.  Sweden’s Peder Fredricson took the win on H&M Flip’s Little Sparrow by 2.42 sec over Germany’s Felix Hassmann on Balzaci.

Graham Lovegrove on Jakarta van de Roshoeve d’14 and Louise with second ride Cordalis 7 also posted steady double clears to finish down the line.
