Annabel Shields makes a winning return to Roosendaal

Annabel Shields hit immediate form in Roosendaal 2*, Netherlands, on day one, winning the 1.40m in fine style aboard Carnoneybridge Challenger. They were making a winning return to this show after taking victory her in December. On this occasion, the Irish nine-year-old with Hermes de Reve/Burggraaf bloodlines finished with 0.65 sec to spare over the Netherlands’ Glenn Knoester on Clint Easter.

In Roosendaal on day one, Annabel slotted My Casall into second in the 1.20m, the Cassini II/Casall eight-year-old finishing just 0.08 sec behind the winner, Turkey’s Lara Omur on Bart de la Plaine.
