Chloe Aston continues her winning form in Opglabbeek
Chloe Aston and Amigo T continued on their winning form at Opglabbeek, Belgium. The pair, winners just 24 hours earlier, headed the 2* 1.35m in fine style, taking the win by more than two seconds. Matt Clayton jumped a steadier clear in this speed class for 18th place on Ardenteggle Poltarf. Stacy Babes finished on just one time fault with Belle Epoque.
Tim Wilks was best Brit in the world ranking 1.45m, taking eighth with the eight-year-old Cherry Ann with four faults in the 15-strong jump-off. A mammoth 100 entries tackled this class, with Stacy Babes clocking up eight faults on the nine-year-old Douglas stallion Camillo VDL to finish out of contention.
Just 0.03 sec prevented Sarah Lundy from scoring victory in the 2* 1.20m on the Padinus 11-year-old Spen Brook Georgie Boy. Italy’s Alessandra Cullotta won on Boeing UR.
Beth Vernon and the six-year-old Hashtag took 12th in the five and six-year-old on clear and four.
