Scott Brash gets Geneva off to a good start
Scott Brash jumped into third with Hello M’Lady in the feature Credit Suisse grand prix on day one in Geneva.
They were on to win in the eight-horse jump-off and the Indoctro/Baloubet du Rouet 10-year-old posted the fastest time by 0.30 sec, but a rail down dropped them down to third. The USA’s Kent Farrington on Creedance took the win from Belgium’s Jerome Guery on Grand Cru van de Rozenberg.
Michael Whitaker also finished for clear and four on Viking, putting them in eighth spot while Robert Whitaker took 12th with one time fault in round one on Catwalk, just behind Harrie Smolders on Don VHP Z.
Michael Whitaker jumped an easy double clear on the impressive Mylord Carthago seven-year-old Valmy De La Lande for 16th spot in the Leman speed. Scott and Ursula jumped for one time fault. And Michael popped Cassionato around the to incur one time fault in the Geneva speed.
