Chloe Aston is again in the winner's enclosure in Oliva Nova


It was another day, another win for the ultra on-form Chloe Aston and her invincible partner Amigo T in Oliva Nova. The Padinus 13-year-old answered Chloe’s every call to win the Gold 2* 1.30m speed and they won in fine style with 3.44 sec to spare. It marked their third win this week.

Brits landed the top three here. Carmen Edwards eased Jasper Bogibo Z into second with Louise Whitaker and Cleopatra in third. Abbe Elliott took sixth on Casti Aneira and Ben Bick claimed ninth aboard Rumers Cascari. Dom Webb jumped a steadier clear on Alvatore for 18th.

Abbe claimed third in the Gold 2* 1.40m speed with the Lupicor 13-year-old Wilandri E, almost five sec behind the pace. Chloe Winchester on the Sydney 11-year-old Synique and Louise Whitaker with Di Lampard’s Balou Du Rouet nnine-year-old Ruby VIII were bunched behind her in fourth and fifth respectively. British-based Irishman Michael Duffy finished seventh on Dominant H with Jess Dimmock in 11th on Billy Tortilla.

Jess Dimmock was best Brit in the 1.45m grand prix, taking fourth with a double clear on the Varo/Lancer eight-year-old Cybel II in the 13-strong jump-off. Israel’s Danielle Goldstein took second on new ride Lizziemary – previously ridden in Britain by Billy Twomey and Emma-Jo Slater – and British-based Spainiard Anotonio Marinas Soto was just behind for third on Cash And Go. British-based Irishman Michael Duffy took seventh on Belcanto Z, and Alice Watson was 13th with The Precious One, a Master Imp 10-year-old. Dom Webb and Whin Whin had four faults in round one.

Felix McCartney eased Fortune Forever 2 into third in the Bronze 1* 1.30m just half a sec away from the winner. Brits were bunched together in the lower places. Jenna Palmer Evans claimed fifth on Kaneilia with Georgia Burchmore Eames in sixth on Contender B, Tom Hollins seventh on How About Now and Will Edwards on SHW Candies B in eighth. Lily Standbridge took ninth on Touch of Pleasure, Ben Raistrick was 10th with Benevita, Victoria Bennett (Brandon) took 11th, Richard Jenkinson (Culto) claimed 13th, Gemma Wright (Ulrike Van Overis Z) was 15th and Kayleigh Watts with Kondy took 18th.

Joe Veitch rode into third on the Sir Shutterfly nine-year-old Sweet Shutterfly in the Bronze 1* 1.25m, some six sec in arrears. Grace Brown was seventh on Lanfre and Daniella Mattock took 10th with Money Moon.

Nissi Sabina Ladell took second in the Bronze 1* 1.15m on the Emiliion Vant Schaaphof/Quidam De Revel six-year-old Exclusive Vant Schaaphof, 1.38 sec behind the winner. Victoria Delville-Cutts was ninth on the nine-year-old Sonic. Grace Brown and Romraisin Saint Mamet took 17th.

Joanne Whitaker claimed 12th in the Bronze 1* 1.40m on Contendro Star, four faults in round one preventing her from contending the four-strong jump-off.
