Chloe Aston doubles up in Oliva Nova

Chloe Aston posted a double of victories on the Autumn MET tour in Oliva Nova, Spain.

Brits filled the top five places in the Gold tour 2* 1.30m speed, Chloe taking the win on her consistent Padinus 11-year-old Amigo T by 0.42 sec from Alison Barton’s 10-year-old Billy Anna. Carmen Edwards took third on Jasper Bogibo Z – a John Z/Hemmingway 11-year-old, with Abbe Elliot fourth on Casti Aneira and Louise Whitaker’s Cleopatra in fifth. Tony French claimed eighth on Kinsale Houdini and Ellen Whitaker slotted Arena UK Winston just behind for ninth with Ireland’s Anthony Condon 10th on Arla.

The Coronado/Caletto I 13-year-old Cecilia posted Chloe’s second win, taking the Gold tour 1.35m by almost four sec. Anthony Condon claimed second with the Berlin eight-year-old Dakar RS and David McPherson eased Dicas (Diarado/Cassini I) into third. Ellen Whitaker and Virginia took fourth with Maja Burnell on Carnaval Komombo eighth and Jess Dimmock’s Billy Tortilla in 13th.

Jess went on to take second in the Silver tour 1* 1.35m on the Cevin Z/Andiamo eight-year-old Billy Anderson, 2.16 sec behind the pace. Kayleight Watts finished seventh with Charmeur, James Wilson took ninth on Victor and Chloe Winchester claimed 12th place on ESI Hazel.

In the Gold 2* 1.40m, Richard Barton eased the Ukato mare Donata into fifth 2.41 sec behind the winner. Anthony Condon and Balzac finished in eighth with Abbe Elliott in ninth on Wilandri E and Alison Barton 14th aboard Roma IV.

Jessica Crosby claimed victory in the five-year-old on Harvey, winning by 0.60 sec. Jess Dimmock and the Tangelo van De Zuuthoeve daughter Billy Fleance took fourth with Anthony Condon in sixth on Lisa Hales’ Arko Gerko III Van De Zeilhoek. Anna Wilks was eighth on l’Artiste De Toxandra with Remy Ellis in 11th on Good Friends, Will Edwards 13th aboard Tinkas Brook II, Laura Johnson just behind in 14th with Off The Recordn and Spencer Roe 17th on Gusto.

Chad Fellows on the Casall/Corofino gelding Cassalfino took second in the six-year-old 1.96 sec behind the winner. Tony French was eighth on Cassius XI with Oliva Gent in ninth on Centurion V and Louise Whitaker 10th with Special Warrior. Remy Ellis was 14th on Flinton CN and Abbie Newbery claimed 17th on Frasier.

Tim Wilks and Jezebel (Toulon/Artos Z) finished fourth in the seven-year-old with Felix McCartney also double clear on Retro III for sixth. Felix was also double clear on Quintano 35 for 13th place.

Alice Watson had two in the top six of the 1* Silver tour 1.25m speed, takkng second on the Winning Mood eight-year-old In The Mood Van Het Kriekenhof 1.66 sec in arrears, and finishing sixth with the Baloubet Du Rouet seven-year-old E Pilotta. Ben Raistrick claimed third on Dan Wright’s 16-year-old Top Limit and Heather Larson slotted Whiteney XI into fourth wth Damian Charles seventh aboard Don Gouan.
