Overwhelmed with entries, Thursday’s 2* 1.30m speed in Bonheiden was split into two sections. Kathryn Ellison and the Cruisings Micky Finn 13-year-old Summer Cruise III claimed second in section A, 2.44 sec in arrears. Adam Botham rode Demograaf into fourth with Ireland’s Trevor Breen in sixth on Canant, Bumble Thomas aboard Ciandro seventh and Jessica Botham in 11th on Colorado Du Brio Vent Z.
Nicola Barry and True Blue III took fourth in section B. Danielle Farnsworth claimed seventh on Archie XI, Adam Botham took 10th with Quarrycrest Reflection and Charlotte Lee on Zarina finished 13th.
Adam and the Clover Echo seven-year-old Quarrycrest Reflection netted second in Friday’s 1.30m speed, finishing 0.78 sec behind the winner.
A bunch of Brits featured in Thursday’s 1.20m, Jessica Botham the best in second on Utah’s Utopia 1.61 sec behind the winner. Laura Mantel and Esgracia took third with Kathryn Ellison and Hanleen Sultis fourth. Danielle Hughes slotted Cassini Royale III into seventh, Charlotte Barry and UFO Z took eighth, Bumble Thomas was ninth on Aramisand Nicola Barry with El Nino claimed 10th spot.
Danielle also finished ninth in the 1.40m speed on Cornascriebe Ferro.
Carron Nicol topped the six-year-old with the Singapore stallion Finnegan D, winning by 1.30 sec. Adam Botham was fourth on Fatero with Carron on Falanta in seventh.
Carron eased Galerius into fourth in the five-year-old 1.10m two sec in arrears with John Steels in fifth aboard Lacose Van Den Bosch. Katinka Brogaard finished ninth on Galveston G and Danielle Hughes took 11th with Garfield.
Less than half sec denied Elizabeth Winter a 1.10m win on Just Malone E, and they had to settle for second. Julie Whibley and Harlequin Joe took fifth with Charlotte Lee on Hillviewfarm Fergus 11 th and Danielle Farnsworth aboard Pequena Beech just behind in 12th.
