Anna Power is best Brit in Moorsele's world ranking class
Anna Power featured in Moorsele’s world ranking 1.45m speed, slotting the Tombola/Lord Z 10-year-old Blazer B into fourth just over three sec behind the pace with second ride Chesterfield Z just a fraction behind for seventh. Ireland’s Michael Duffy on Castleforbes Talitha won the class.
Nicole Pavitt took ninth on the Chellano Z 10-year-old Shahenaz with Jamie Wingrove and the Casiro eight-year-old Casianne placed 10th in her first ranking class, Dan Neilson on Newton Nickel 14th and Amy Inglis aboard Wishes 15th. Jay Buxton and Strides Hilansterne jumped a steadier clear for 23rd.
Joe Whitaker notched up a win in the seven-year-old speed with the Locarno daughter Diola, taking victory by 3.14 sec. Also jumping clears, Anna Power finished seventh and eighth on Tahiclaud and Edison V with Dan Neilson in 10th on Cirrus.
A winner 24 hours earlier, Jamie Wingrove and the six-year-old mare Heartstring took second in the five and six-year-old.
Jay Buxton jumped a steady clear with Sekhmet De Keralys in the 2* 1.30m speed for 13th. Nicole Pavitt was quick but at the expense of a pole on Doucardi for 18th and Jay took 22nd on second ride High Offleys Arturos Catch.
In Jardy, France, Theo Simpson finished 12th in the 2* 1.40m speed on Touch of Chilli with a steady clear, and Kirstie Leightley was 12th in the 1.30m on Thais d’La Verriere.
Charlotte Alpin claimed third in the 1.15m on Delanini, 1.88 sec behind the winner. Theo took ninth on Flinstering and Grace Walker Raper took 13th on Alvaro De Reve.
