William Funnell was two sec off a 5* 1.45m win with Billy Angelo in Lausanne, Switzerland, but it was sufficient for second spot. A total of 35 contended the class, with Italy’s Luca Maria Moneta taking the win on Neptune Brecourt. Four faults dropped Michael Whitaker and Valentin R down the line to 14th.
Emma O’Dwyer returned on four faults in the 1.55m with Echo De Laubry to drop down to 19th place.
In Arezzo, Brits suffered a four fault day. Four faults in round one prevented Laura Robinson and Jonti from contending the 2* world ranking 1.45m and they took 15th. Laura claimed 13th in the 1.30m on Rearcross Quality Cruize – also with four faults.
Richard Barton also returned a round one four faults on Donata in the 1.35m for 11th.
Rachel Howell took ninth on Sienna in the 1.15m speed – another four-faulter.
