Joe Whitaker heads the world ranking 1.45m at De Peelbergen in Holland

Joe Whitaker claimed a great win the 2* world ranking 1.45m speed on the Locarno 11-year-old daughter Lola V at De Peelbergen 2* in The Netherlands. Drawn third to go in a massive 81-starter class, they won by a handsome 2.79 sec.

Sam Hutton eased Iloica VD Bisschop into fourth.

Hayden Hankey posted victory by more than three sec in the six-year-old 1.30m with the Quality Time mare Faline. Joe Whitaker and the Locarno daughter La Mona took 11th with a steadier clear.

Megan Williams claimed sixth on the Ustinov nine-year-old Cisco’s Chateau in the 2* 1.35m, jumping double clear and finishing 3.25 sec behind the winner in the 67-strong class.

Joe Clee finished eighth in the seven-year-old on Je T’Adore and Dominic Webb took 12th in the 1* 1.20m speed with a steady round aboard Alvatore.
