Anna Power is best Brit in Zandhoven's 1.60m grand prix

Anna Power and Blazer B were the sole British representatives in Zandhoven’s 4* 1.60m world ranking grand prix, but four faults in the 13-strong decider dropped them to 11th. Guy Williams and Carlson had eght faults in round one.

Jess Mendoza eased the Indoctro nine-year-old Constance into eighth in the 4* world ranking 1.50m with a double clear, 3.36 sec behind the winner. Anna Power and Blazer B returned on clear and eight for 14th spot. Guy and Depardieu Van T Kiezelhof had four faults in round one.

Jess and Wan Architect took 12th in a hotly contended 2* 1.35m speed, 10 sec in arrears.

Four faults in Saturday’s 4* 1.40m dropped Jess and Ramiro De Belle Vue down to 19th, but the pair jumped into sixth in Sunday’s 1.45m speed, 3.28 sec behind the pace. Guy and Casper De Muze provided the fastest time of the class, but a lowered rail put them in ninth. Chloe Aston and Cecilia also had four for 14th with Anna and Chesterfield 18th.
