Anna Power and Chesterfield Z take second in Zandhoven

Anna Power and the big-jumping Chesterfield Z leapt into second in the 4* 1.40m, the Chippendale Z 10-year-old finishing 2.07 sec behind the winner in Zandhoven, Belgium. Jess Mendoza and Spirit T jumped double clear for 18th.

Anna and Tahiclaud had one time fault in the 2* 1.35m for 13th spot. Jess and Toyboy incurred two faults for 22nd.

Time faults appeared to be the order of the day for Brits – Anna on Blazer B and William Funnell also picked up one time on Billy Congo for 10th and 17th in the 1.45m world ranking class. Nine went forward to the jump-off, won by France’s Titouan Schumacher on Oceane De Nantuel.

In Wiener Neustadt 2*, Austria, Eliott Gordon took sixth in the 1.25m speed on Josy Mon Coeur more than four sec in arrears and also finished 15th in the 1.30m speed with a steady clear on the Clinton/Nimmerdor seven-year-old Einstein.
