Anna Power wins in Macon Chaintre

Anna Power got Macon Chaintre, France, off to a flying start with a win on Blazer B in day one’s 3* 1.45m, winning the 73-strong speed class by 0.94 sec. Harriet Nuttall pushed Galway Bay Jed into seventh with Robert Smith on Ilton in ninth.

Yazmin Pinchen was 1.09 sec off the pace in the 3* 1.50m for second on Van De Vivaldi in the 11-horse decider. A total of 73 contended the class, with Anna and Blazer B in 17th on four faults in round one.

Just days after winning the national championship and qualifying for HOYS, Robert Smith and Cimano E took second in the 3* 1.40m, 3.21 sec behind the pace. Anna and Chesterfield Z claimed fifth.

Yazmin finished eighth in the 1.40m on Bandito with Harriet hot on her heels for ninth aboard Dulf. Jane Davies took fourth on Eclips Van Erpekom in the 1.30m.
