Anna Power is best Brit in the St Lo grand prix

Four faults in round one of St Lo’s 3* 1.50m grand prix dropped Anna Power and Blazer B to 10th. Only three clears from 50 starters were produced over a tough track with France filling the top three, Mathieu Billot and Shiva D’Amaury heading the trio.

Steven Franks on Brutus III and Harriet Nuttall with A Touch Imperious both posted a steady four-fault round for 21st and 23rd and Jemma Kirk returned on five faults with Quelisto.

Yazmin Pinchen took sixth in the St Lo speed on the Verdi sired Bandito three sec behind the pace. Steven slotted Carlow Cruiser into eighth with Emma O’Dwyer on Ribanbelle Tame in 11th and Harriet Nuttall aboard Galway Bay Jed 12th.

In Opglabbeek, Belgium, James Emblen and Skelwith Lady Delilah finished 13th in the 1* 1.35m speed grand prix with the steadiest clear of the 13 clears. Isaac Hall returned on one time fault with Conrad for 14th spot.
