Brits were in winning form in Le Touquet, France.
British riders claimed four of the top six in the 1.35m, Amy Inglis taking the win on Amadeouse De Hurtebise by 3.15 sec. Jess Dimmock eased Billy Anderson into second with Alex Hempleman fifth on Billy Tiffany and Jane Annett aboard Cudansa M in sixth. British-based Frenchman Dan Delsart eased Mayspring into seventh.
Jane claimed her own victory on the Clover Echo mare Nonstop III n the 1.30m, winning by 0.20 sec. Louise Whitaker took third on Cleopatra half a sec behind Jane, with Alex Hempleman fifth on Billy Dinero.
Polly Shaw topped the 1.35m aboard Golden Grove AIT A, winning with the only double clear in the four-strong jump-off. Thirty-seven contended the class with Carla Jane Rolfe on Talis Du Montois in 10th and Lucy Wood aboard on Duc De Lyon in 11th, both on four faults in round one.
A tough world ranking 1.45m grand prix realised only four clears from 42 starters with France’s Eugenie Angot taking the win on Turquoise D’Ivraie. Jess Dimmock on Cybel II and David McPherson with Sirocco both had four faults in round one for 10th and 11th respectively.
