Yazmin Pinchen is a double winner in Fontainebleau


Yazmin Pinchen notched up a double in Fontainebleau, France. She headed the 2* 1.40m small grand prix aboard Con Chilli. A total of 45 contended with 10 jumping off, Yazmin and the Con Air 11-year-old mare winning by 0.32 sec.

Jane Annett and the Irish 10-year-old Clover Echo mare Nonstop III jumped a steadier double clear for fifth. Amy Inglis and Wishes completed with four faults in round one for 21st.

Yazmin’s second win came in the six-year-old speed with the Berlin daughter Briljant LVP Z, winning by 0.63 sec. Jane and My Cino returned four faults in round one.

Yazmin also eased Dominant H into third in the 1* 1.40m, 1.32 sec in arrears.

Amy Inglis scored a good win in the Ladies 1.35m aboard the 10-year-old Amadeouse De Hurtebise, taking victory by 0.60 sec. Amy also claimed sixth with Samayava Ar Park (pictured) in the 13-horse decider, with Yazmin in 13th on Zodiac Z.

Henry Turrell claimed ninth in the seven-year-old speed with the Unbelievable Darco sired Reddarco, almost nine sec in arrears.

Eight faults in the 13-strong jump-off dropped Jane Annett and Pallas Masterclass down to 12th in the 2* 1.45m Grand Prix. Henry Turrell and Blaze of Glory had four faults in round one in the 48 starter class for 20th place.

Anna Power pushed Chesterfield Z into fifth in the 2* accumulator, 1.07 sec behind the winner. Justni Tuff was close behind with Cumana Van Pottelberg and Henry Turrell dropped three points aboard Uranus Des Bois for 19th.

Lara Whiteway took second in the 1* accumulator with the 12-year-old Bellagio II, just 0.18 sec off the pace.

Brits filled four of the top seven places in the Amateur 1.15m accumulator with joker, Kelly Roberts and Strebor Courage taking third, 2.15 sec behind the winner. Lwori Ball was hot on her heels for fourth with Kandia Van De Brouwershoeve with Alicia Sherborne sixth on Ettonia and Georgina Murrins in seventh on Minja III. Paul George was 10th (Vagabond) and 13th (Vennie Burga Z) with Emily Renouf on Sorraya in 11th.

Emma Shingles took 10th on Torino in the Amateur 1.25m with four faults in round one.

Millie Hockenhull took ninth in the Amateur 1.20m aboard Marco Polo Du Preai with four faults in round one. Only six accessed the jump-off.
