Partners Graham Lovegrove and Louise Saywell take a one-two in Vimeiro

July 22, 2016

Graham Lovegrove and Louise Saywell secured the top two places in Vimeiro’s top class of the day, the 1.45m.  Graham and Cento Love, a 14-year-old mare who returned to competition in April after being sidelined for six months, were just 0.21 sec in front.

Louise had to settle for second with Patrol V in the 52-strong class.  Thirteen reached the jump-off, and Louise was also 18th on Dassler with four faults.

In Le Mans, France, Skye Higgin took sixth on Quarina De Blondel in the 2* 1.40m against 62 starters, finishing 4.85 sec behind the winner.

In Vichy, France, Rebecca Williams took second in the Amateur 1.20m on Shere Khan, just 0.35 sec behind the pace.  And her husband Guy jumped a steady clear in the seven-year-old speed on Santa Cruz for 14th.
