Jude Burgess and Comeback De Fremis are best Brits in the eight-year-old at Valkenswaard

At Valkenswaard’s Global Future Stars Show, Jude Burgess finished sixth in the 1.45m eight-year-old speed on the Ugano Sitte/Heartbreaker gelding Comeback De Fremis, 3.67 sec behind the pace.
Carron Nicol took fifth on the Emerald Van’T Ruytershof/Nabab De Reve stallion Jaguar Van Berghoeve in Monday’s 87-strong seven-year-old. Julian Mincher claimed 11th in Tuesday’s equivalent on Sam and Darren Middleton’s Vaillant seven-year-old Eindhoven GH.
Holly Broad finished third in Monday’s five-year-old aboard the Vigaro/Phin Phin stallion Gentleman. Jude took sixth and 10th on the Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve/Chin Chin mare Gimona and Germate, a Warrant/Goodtimes mare. Ruairidh Bothwell was 17th on Lord Gold Vant Dauwhof. Scarlette Norman and Flavie Van De Helle also jumped double clear for 25th.
In Tuesday’s five-year-old, Carron Nicol claimed fifth on her homebred Fantaland son Moonraker. Jude and Germates took 15th.
Tamarin Christie and King Van Het Keizershof, a Clearway/Phin Phin gelding took fourth in Tuesday’s six-year-old speed with Carron Nicol and the Singapore/Cassini I stallion Finnegan D in 21st with a steady clear.
