Holly Hammond wins the British novice second round at Field House

Holly Hammond headed the KBIS British novice second round with the Irish-bred gelding Landown Illusion at Field House EC, Staffs, to book her place in the final at the National Championships, Stoneleigh, in August.
Eleven from a field of 42 gained access to the third and final round, with Holly on the Bastion/Touchdown seven-year-old gelding Illusion taking the win by 1.58 sec.
Ryan Page claimed second and fourth places with two seven-year-old mares – Ettie Ann P and Enchanted P. Mark Thompson sandwiched the Luidam eight-year-old Larino Z into third.
