Laura Renwick and Bintang are third in Paris

Laura Renwick eased the Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve 10-year-old Bintang in the 1.50/1.55m speed on the Longines Global Champions Tour, Paris. They were 1.39 sec behind popular winner, France’s Roger Yves Bost on Pegase Du Maurier taking victory on home ground.

Ireland’s Denis Lynch was fourth with All Star 5 and Scott Brash with Hello Guv’Nor had four faults for 15th.

John Whitaker on Ornellaia teamed up with Alberto Zorzi and Fair Light Van T Heike to take third in the Global Champions League as Valkenswaard United with a team total of four.

Antwerp Diamonds Harrie Smolders (Capital Colnardo) and Audrey Coulter (Alex) won with a zero score. Cannes Stars Marco Kutscher (Clenur) and Roger Yves Bost (Sunshine Du Phare) were second on two faults.

Rome Gladiators Laura (MHS Washington) and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (Extra Van Essene) finished fourth on eight.

Valkenswaard United now top the leader-board by a slender three point margin on 239 with the Monaco Aces in second on 236. The Antwerp Diamonds are third on 226 with the Rome Gladiators fourth on 223.

Claire Beecroft and the Lord Z/Rubert R 10-year-old Vanda Cartier took second 1.56 sec behind the pace in the Eiffel Sunday Evian challenge 1.25/1.30m. Claire also took sixth on Burgana, just behind Tess Carmichael in fifth on Unique III.

Alicia Store finished seventh in the Magic Millions 1.15m on Uriko Van Sint Antoniushoeve and 12th with Capellini with Imogen Beecroft on Untouchable in 15th.
