Annabel Shields is fourth in Mullingar grand prix

Annabel Shields rounded off a good show at Mullingar 2* with fourth in the Ballynegall Feeds1.45m Grand Prix with Wet Wet Wet. Only two double clears were produced, and Annabel had the time sewn up, posting the quickest time in the class by two sec. But unfortunately, the first fence fell and they were relegated to fourth.

Ireland’s Sophie Dalme won the class with Remake Lande with Matt Garrigan in second on Contino 56. David Power took third with one time fault in the jump-off on Dunganstown Boy. Stacy Babes and Camillo VDL claimed 11th in the 11 strong-jump-off.

Gabriel Tunney and Lavish won the 1.30m by 0.23 sec. Eight from a field of 33 contended the jump-off, with Gabriel finding the quickest route.

In the Castleforbes Stud 1.25m, Annabel and My Casall took seventh and Sandra Low-Mitchell was ninth on Eccosse, both clocking four faults in the jump-off.
