An exciting new programme will pilot in July

A newly styled Canter Banter programme is due to pilot online on the 12th July 2016. Presented by International rider and former OlympianTim Stockdale, international rider Dan Neilson and equestrian enthusiast and reality television personality Luisa Zissman (pictured l to r), the programme has a strong line-up and looks set to be an instant hit with viewers.

Initial filming took place in May at the National Agriculture and Exhibition Centre at Stoneleigh Park with the final footage being filmed yesterday evening in front of a studio audience at the same venue.

The Pilot programme will see international dressage rider Henry Boswell joining the presenters along with guest rider Judy Craymer, the creative brain and producer of the global smash hit musical and biggest musical film ever…Mamma Mia!

Maria Clayton, Head of Communications at British Showjumping commented “We felt there was a gap in the market for a programme that would bring equestrianism to a wider audience in an informative yet fun-filled way. The enthusiasm and backing of the project right from the start has been overwhelming and I speak on behalf of everyone involved in the programmes production when I say we hope viewers have as much fun watching it as we did making it.”

Once the Pilot has been broadcast and feedback received a decision will be made as to whether an initial season of up to six programmes will be produced. Further information regarding the Pilot along with a Teaser will be available two weeks before the broadcast date.

British Showjumping would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the programme from the owners who made their horses available for filming, long term sponsors of the sport Graham Heath who built a bespoke ‘tack room’ studio, Champion Hats for making product available and the team at NAEC Stoneleigh for making such a superb venue available to us for both days of filming. Thanks also go to Impact Media who were commissioned to produce the Pilot on our behalf and have worked tirelessly on the project.

The Pilot will broadcast at 7pm on Tuesday 12th July 2016 at
