Kayleigh Watts claims another win in Poland

On the Baltica Spring tour, Poland, Kayleigh Watts claimed the Gold tour 1.40m speed in great style on the Numero Uno/No Limit 13-year-old Winde with more than a sec to spare. Carron Nicol brought her home-bred 10-year-old Landjonker/Noncorde stallion Fantaland into third. British-based South African Genene Burnett took 14th on Vanda Versace.

And Kayleigh took second in the Gold tour 1.30m speed on the 13-year-old Blush, finishing some three and half sec behind the pace.

Four faults in round one prevented Kayleigh from contending the Silver tour 1.35m Grand Prix jump-off on Kondy and they took 19th.

Graham Gillespie was best Brit in the 2* 1.45m world ranking Grand Prix, the home-bred Calvaro Z/Heartbreaker nine-year-old Celine’s four faults in round denying a jump-off chance to take 17th. Dan Neilson and Newton Nickel finished on five faults. Mexico’s Santiago Lambre and Johnny Boy claimed victory in the 12-horse jump-off.
