Kayleigh and Blush win by an incredible eight sec

On week two of the Baltica Spring tour, Poland, Kayleigh Watts and the 13-year-old mare Blush outpaced all their rivals in the Gold tour 2* 1.30m, taking the win by an incredible eight sec. Dan Neilson and Major Delacour finished 13th.

Dan on Harry X took 18th in the Gold tour 2* 1.35m with Graham Gillespie and Celine in 21st, both incurring jump-off faults.

Eight faults apiece for Graham Gillespie on the French-bred 11-year-old Reve De Bacon and Carron Nicol with Jaguar VD Berghoeve, an Emerald Van’t Ruytershof/Nabab De Reve stallion, in the Gold tour world ranking 1.45m speed put them out of contention. Jamie Gornall and Bredero came home on nine faults. Only four clears were evident, with five unfortunate riders posting clears but incurring time faults only.

“Jaguar was amazing today in the world ranking class but his rider let him run past the wall, such a shame as there were only four clears. I’m very lucky to have bought such an amazing seven-year-old,” said Carron.
