Jane Annett is a winner in Fontainbleau

Jane Annett rode the Irish-bred Harlequin Du Carel nine-year-old mare Pallas Masterclass to victory in 1* 1.30m by almost a sec in Fontainbleau, France. Skye Higgin took 13th on the eight-year-old Callgirl with Alex Hempleman in 14th on the Cevin Z nine-year-old Billy Dinero.

And Jane was just 0.21 sec off the pace in the 1.25m to take second on Sligo Hermes Touch, an eight-year-old mare by Hermes De Reve. She also brought the seven-year-old Irco Cruise into 13th in the 1.20m.

Jessica Dimmock and her eight-year-old mare Cybel II have easily moved up a level and took fourth in the 1.45m with just one time fault in the seven-strong jump-off. Four faults in round one dropped Sam Ward and Quality down to 26th place.

Danielle Farnsworth slotted the 11-year-old Archie XI into seventh in the Ladies.

In the amateur 1.20m, Charlotte Graham took 14th on the Billy Congo 10-year-old Billy On Form with Julie Slade 17th riding the Verdi nine-year-old Nicholas 55. Julie also took 13th on Billy Gogo in the 1.15m. Louise Alston was 17th in the 2* 1.35m on the eight-year-old Mack The Knife.
