Louise Pavitt is in winning form in Le Touquet

In Le Touquet on Friday, Louise Pavitt claimed the 3* 1.35m by almost a sec on the Nonstop 11-year-old Fiona VH Lemmenshof. Chloe Breen eased the Cumano 15-year-old Zidane into sixth, just n front of her brother-in-law Trevor, seventh on Danique. Louise was also ninth on the nine-year-old Berlin and Steven Franks took 17th on Abdul Aziz.

Ben Maher was just half a sec off the pace on Aristo Z in the 3* world ranking 1.50m, won by Peder Fredricson’s H&M All In. Tim Stockdale took third on the Thunder Van De Zuuthoeve 11-year-old Fleur De L’Aube in the seven-strong jump-off. Louise Pavitt (Unex Chamberlain Z), Lance Whitehouse (Vik II) and Nick Skelton (Big Star) all picked up four faults in round one. Nicole Pavitt on Ultimate Z, David Simpson with Unex Cognac IV and Guy Willliams on Titus finished on five faults each and Jemma Kirk picked up six with Ayrton UH.

Nicole netted third in the 3* 1.40m speed on the eight-year-old Doucardi , less than a second off the pace. Jake Saywell was hot on her heels – only 0.03 sec away – for fourth with the Cicero nine-year-old Havinia Van De Roshoeve and Matt Sampson slotted Perfect Rouge into sixth.

Nicole took third on the seven-year-old Unbelievable Darco stallion Gemmarco 16 in the young horse1* 1.30, with Sophie Fawcett in ninth on the Winningmood seven-year-old Winning Good.

Sam Ward eased Wish into second in the 1* 1.30m speed, just half a sec in arrears behind France’s Benjamin Devulder on Soraya De St Martin. Steady clears from Sarah Lewis on Doonaveeragh Emma and Lucy Warren with Deltina finished down the line.

Lucy Warren took second in the 1* 1.25m on the Ultimo 11-year-old Alex VD Molen with Giorgia Distefano in 20th on Evensong III. Victoria Laing finished eighth in the 1* 1.20m on Deja Vu IV and Caroline Breen was 16th on the Ard VDL Douglas 11-year-old Killamustalla Douglas in the Amateur 1.15m with Sarah Lewis 19th on Culana Z.
