Kerry Brennan posts a dynamic win in Drammen

In Drammen, Norway, Kerry Brennan was on top form and claimed the 3* gold small tour 1.40m on the Warrant eght-year-old Dynamic III by almost four sec.

James Billington finished 10th in the 3* gold medium tour final on VDL Stud’s Quaprice/Jus De Pomme stallion Baltic VDL on one time fault.

And Liane Smith was again placed in the young horse class, taking sixth on the Verdi/Wolfgang six-year-old Flintstone De Ness and ninth on Ferdi M, a Verdi/Kalusha six-year-old. Norway’s Victoria Gulliksen and Firefly H won the class.

The 3* Teleplan 1.50m Derby, in traditional Derby style, failed to produce a clear round, and a tight tme caught out some. It was won by Denmark’s Torben Frandsen on Antares with two faults. James Billington was best Brit in seventh on VDL Stud’s eight-year-old Cardento/Nimmerdor stallion Dakar VDL with five faults. Joe Whitaker and the nine-year-old Lavarno finished on eight faults for 13th spot.
