Harriet Nuttall and Sally Hopkinson take a win each on day one at Chepstow 2*
On day one at Chepstow CSI2*, Harriet Nuttall topped the medium tour 1.35m with the Cougar/Flagmount Diamond 15-year-old Highland Cruiser in a hotly contended two-phase competition. Jay Halim took second 0.26 sec in arrears on Abrisco, a Unistar/Zeus 11-year-old, with Keith Shore on the Triomphe De Muze/Kannan 14-year-old Coriander Vant Vennehof in third.
Sally Hopkinson and the Carnute 13-year-old Cartouche II got Chepstow 2* off the flying start by taking the small tour 1.30m by half a sec from Keith Shore’s Zegreanne Z with Abbie Crippen in third on Vilka B.
The USA’s Lauren Hough took the big tour 1.40m with Waterford, half a sec in front of Chepstow’s 2015 grand prix winners Nick Benterman and the Corland/Indoctro 12-year-old Zorland D. Laura Robinson and the Lando 12-year-old Jonti claimed third.
Sammie-Jo Coffin took the gold tour 1.25m on Denzil Boy. Ben Raistrick was second on Top Limit and Olivia Gent took third on Carnavals Wonder.
Kallum Fletcher headed the silver tour 1.15m with Disco III. Chelsea Skelton went into second on Cheleko GB Z with third going to Michael Fursedonn and Foxtrot Van Den Aard.
